It’s not really about clothes
I didn’t start Statements with a big idea.
There wasn’t a full plan behind it.
No big vision deck.
No “this will change everything”.
It started with something simple:
What if clothing worked more like language?
Something small, but personal
Not big graphics.
Not statements that try too hard.
Just small messages.
Sometimes something you relate to.
Sometimes something that just feels right.
Sometimes something that doesn’t mean much — but still makes you smile.
You don’t need to be loud
A lot of things today are.
Loud designs.
Loud branding.
Loud opinions.
But not everything needs to stand out in that way.
Some things work better when they’re quieter.
More subtle.
More open.
It’s not about making a statement
At least not in the way people usually think.
You don’t wear something to prove a point.
Or to get attention.
It’s more like this:
You see something —
and it already feels like you.
That’s it
No deeper explanation needed.
Just pieces you can wear
without thinking too much about them.
Because they already make sense to you.
